Tan Hill Inn, the highest and snowiest pub in Britain

Snow enveloping Britain’s highest pub, The Tan Hill Inn, in Swaledale in the North Yorkshire Dales. Dozens of New Years revellers have been stranded at the pub due to poor weather, inadvertently taking part in the longest lasting New Years party. The pub is surrounded by miles of thick snow, creating a lunar landscape, as Britain experiences it’s coldest weather in 10 years.
