Fresh starts, the excitement of Christmas and New Year, and we’re all finally back at work, and ready to make headway into the 2015.
It seems January is planning month! Congratulations on getting engaged, was it over Christmas? Recently I have quite a few enquiries from people who have seen my work, and have asked if I do wedding photography.
I’ve photographed a number of weddings over the past ten years, seaside Weddings in Woolacombe, Devon. I’ve photographed Forest Log Cabin weddings in Great Ayton, North Yorkshire. Stunning weddings in Alnwick, Northumberland. I find them quite fun. They’re really intense, exhausting, but good fun!
I don’t advertise it, as I focus mainly on my commercial and editorial photography. But if you’re interested in me shooting your wedding, you’re welcome to get in touch.
To keep things simple, my prices start from: £1140 (inc VAT), with images provided on a CD, DVD or temporary download link.
A pre-wedding/engagement shoot starts from: £240
Travel costs and other expenses are not included, but will be calculated from my base in Manchester. Also, if I need accomodation, for example a late finish at the other end of the country, this will be charged at cost or if you can put me up I’d be happy with that too (I’m pretty easy going).
If you’d like to get in touch, contact me on jp@jonathanpow.com or call me on 07901 617571. I’m based in Manchester, I’m happy to travel if needed.
Please enjoy these images from recent weddings I have photographed.
PLEASE NOTE – This starting price covers a lot of hidden professional costs. This includes preparation, days spent selecting and editing, and not just my photographic skills on the big day. When looking at any wedding photographer, or commercial photographer, or indeed PR photographer, there are a number of factors that go into the costs. Take it from me, photography is an expensive business.
To name a few, what you are paying for is time, equipment costs, maintenance, professional insurance, computer equipment for editing and sorting, plus you are often paying for years of professional experience. Without these there wouldn’t be a photographer here at all. When entrusting someone with your special day, take all these factors into account and most of all, ensure that they won’t cock it up!
