Miss York, Anastasia Smith, promoting EuroMillions lottery draw

“MISS York Anastasia Smith has been selected to promote a big EuroMillions draw later this week.

Anastasia, 21, from Norton, Malton, donned her best party frock yesterday at the Royal York Hotel to remind people of a guarantee from Euromillions that Christmas will come two days early for 25 people in the UK who will each win a million pounds.

The photoshoot came as Miss York organiser Naomi Smith urged contenders for the 2012 title to come forward. “The closing date is January 31, so contestants don’t have long to get their applications in,” she said. “People can either email info@missyork.co.uk or go to Facebook/missyorkcompetition.”

She said her message to potential Miss Yorks was: “Look how well Anastasia is doing – this could be you!””
