Always on the lookout for new and interesting stories, last week I covered something that I found intriguing in Hull. The CAMRA Trinity Beer and Cider festival, held in the Holy Trinty Church, Hull, East Yorks. Organised by Hull CAMRA, the festival uses the unusual venue for ale and cider fans to try their favourite tipples and find new ones in the process.
One photo I really liked was in front of a painting of Jesus and the Last Supper. Spotting an opportunity I organised a line of drinkers in front of the barrels to sip their drinks with the Reverend Matt Woodcock taking up the central position.
Everyone was really friendly and seemed quite excited by the event and the unlikely venue. It was great fun to cover and the venue and people made the task of creating interesting photography much more pleasant.
