Wearing a DNA Suit James Michelsberg of Michelsberg Tailoring, Leeds, West Yorkshire. James has created the world’s first DNA suit, which uses a special fabric with it’s own unique genetic code to ensure authenticity and help prevent forgeries. The fabric is impregnated with botanical DNA, extracted from plants, which can be tested to find the genetic fingerprint which stands for ‘Woven in Yorkshire’. Popular in the Far East, the cloth and it’s heritage is almost important as the tailoring itself, and this system will be used to ensure the fabric is genuine John Cavendish and made in Huddersfield.
